I officially started my journey of dedication to becoming a healthier me about 3 weeks ago. In the beginning it can be quite a battle; both mentally and physically. Your body hearts from the exercise, your goals seem so far out of reach, and progress just doesn't seem to come quick enough. Let me encourage you to keep pushing forward. So many times I have found that the things that we appreciate the most and give us the biggest reward are the things we've had to fight for the hardest.
I found this quote on Pinterest and I think it's so true. Every time I set my foot out the door I battle with "Maybe I'll just walk today", and "No. I need to push harder". Yesterday when I went out my back was hurting, and it didn't take long before my shins started hurting. The voice that was telling me to just walk was quite loud. I've been doing the couch to 5k and if you're familiar with it at all you know about the timed intervals. I'll be honest and say that I did walk an extra 30 secs, but other than than I finished the whole thing.
I am a stubborn individual and as I get older I've learned that I can use my stubborn nature for a positive impact. I will continue even when I don't feel like it. What are some ways you are changing to be healthier?
