Do you ever wonder why it's so much easier to put the weight on than it is to take it off? Today was one of those days. I only wanted to do one mile instead of two. I wanted soda instead of water, and I wanted a bowl of ice cream instead of a protein bar that I had made earlier in the day. Even though these things were in my mind, there were two thoughts that spoke louder in my head were "If you keep at it your kids will see the example you're setting", and "If you stop, or give in today, it will be easier to give in tomorrow."
At the end of the work out you know it's always worthwhile. You know you've made the right decision. How can you feel bad when you measure yourself and you notice the tape measure use less inches?

When I feel like quitting I think about why I started and then a positive fear sets in that I may not attain my goal. This is what keeps me going. What made you start your journey? Was it health reasons? Was it just to get in shape? Whatever your reason may be let's encourage each other. Leave your comments.
