So the saying goes, "No Pain, No Gain.", right? Oh so true. On Friday I probably did waaaay more squats than I should have and that night I went walk/jogging with the kids. Saturday evening we started the Couch to 5k app. When I woke up Sunday I could hardly walk, but as you know we hiked along the beach at Big Talbot Island State Park. So much fun. My theory is if you're muscles are hurting then you must be giving them a workout right? I love the feeling, but at the same time it can make the next workout a little more difficult. Support is so important. My family has been so great. They come with me every evening and we make it a family work. The kids and my husband cheer me on when I would rather slow down.
Don't give up!!! If you've had a bad day, remember tomorrow is a new day. Get your shoes on and get outside. I mentioned in an earlier blog that it's important to take one day at a time. Don't do it on your own. Find friends or family that will go with you and support your journey.
