For the last month my mother-in-law has been consolidating her stuff in our garage. In the process we have looked at many pictures, found things that we thought were lost and the kids have found treasures that Nanny has given them.
In my last post I mentioned how the kids were getting bored, restless and aggravated with one another. Well thank goodness for the treasures found in Nanny's storage. Zeke won the prize of Nanny's old stereo. The CD collection was a little older but let me tell you they had so much fun. I peeked in the door and this is what the younger three were dancing to.

It's so important to remember the good days and when they've used their imaginations. When they think it's impossible to agree and do things together, you can remind them about the times they did. Who would have ever though a CD from the 50's could produce so much fun for three kids 60 years later. It doesn't always take a lot of money to produce entertainment. Try looking for treasures in unexpected places. You'll be surprised at what you can find.
