Today was a busy day in preparation for Father's Day. This is just one of my many helper's, my baby girl, Serenity. She helped me pull the weeds in the natural area. Between the aloe plants and the rose bushes this was a painful task. Haha. I remember when I was their age I had to help my mom pull weeds in our garden. Let me just say this one of my least favorite things to do during the summer. Hopefully my girls found it a little more enjoyable.
This is my little man. He was too busy showing me how strong he was to pull weeds. He eventually decided to clean his room instead. No complaints from this mom.
This one here is my oldest. The Father's Day Shindig was her idea. She's really thoughtful and loves to make Mother's Day and Father's Day special for us. She's not a real nature person so she left shortly after this picture was taken to clean bathrooms. That's right. I said it. She rather clean bathrooms than be outside. Again, no complaints from me.
It wasn't long before I had exhausted all my cleaning manpower and I was left alone. The kids decided to go back outside and enjoy what was left of their day. Who could blame them? Wouldn't you do the same thing.
